Hi guys. I picked out some parts a while ago and I now have enough left over cash to buy it with.
I'm really just wondering if it will be able to run some of the latest games well (if so on what settings) and compatibility with the parts.

I'd also appreciate it if you could recommend other parts if there are compatibility issues or if there's simply something better for the same amount of money!

I do not need anything else apart from the computer itself. Possibly fans if you'd feel the urge to recommend that.

Get a GTX 970 if you can! Do you plan on SLI/Crossfire? If not get a 650 80+ Gold PSU, it will be enough.

oh wow! When did that one come out? I must be really outdated. Would it be compatible with the rest of the setup?

I was gonna get a 650W but the 750W was only $10 dollars more and I figured that I'd get it if I'd want lights or do SLI in the future!

Yeah, then get a Gigbyte GTX 970 G1 and the PSU you mentioned. If you can get a single stick of RAM(It will be better in the long run). Why Windows 8.1 OEM? Get Windows 8.1 Pro.

I don't think I found it on the PCPartpicker list. I added it when 8.1 was brand new and I didn't know what kind of OS to get. I think I'll go with either Windows 8.1 Pro or Windows 7 Pro. I'd also like to stick with the EVGA cards so I'm getting the EVGA GTX 970. I swapped the RAM for G.Skill Snipers to be able to get an i5 4690k with a CM Hyper 212 evo fan.

Yeah, it's good now. Better to get Windows 8.1 Pro it is confirmed news that Windows 7 will not receive DirectX updates 🙁
