Hah! You Europeans. We Americans (with due deference to all "Americans" not of the United States), put the month first, so this is all old news. Not saying we have it right. Just saying.

See, there I go, putting my foot in my mouth. Jane, if you are using Eastern time, then you are in America, so "traditionally", Americans would do todays date as 8/7/2009. Perhaps because that's the way our digital watches display it.

I'm Canadian and it's more common here to go with the dd/mm/yy format. :)

Dullness. Doesn't even have the 0.

It will be more interesting in 80 years, (and was 20 years ago as well), when 01:23:45 6th July 2089, (or for those in the USA who do the month first June 7th)

0123456789.

All ten numbers, happens every hundred years, the format for this story misses out the 0 and happens every 10 years.

YAWN!

Actually, this happened back in Feb... Unix timestamp 1234567890 = Fri, 13 Feb 2009 23:31:30 GMT. The real one was a bigger deal and many more sites, including google, "celebrated" it.

I don't see a big deal to this as the date could be arranged so that there were multiple 123456789 days...

Pretty stupid imo.

In Canada we put the day first, not the month... And it makes sense. Go from smallest to biggest, or biggest to smallest, not mix and match!

NooOoOOOO! Well since I've been rated down I might as well just reference the fact that DC2 is coming and the only date that means anything is 9-9-09 and the beatles is only a cover up

Oh.. too bad I'm on a different time zone.. It's 14:50 already.. :)

On a side note, shouldn't be 8/7 for you americans (they do get everything mixed up anyway, look at football, the sport only that uses hands and has foot on the name. weird. lol)..
