Hard Disk Data Transfer

HELLO,
ID LIKE TO TRANSFER DATA FROM 2 HDD'S (1 HAS SOME GLITCHES) TO A NEW 500GB WD BLACK HDD. IF I CLONE THE 2 DRIVES, WILL THE BAD PARTS ALSO BE COPIED TO THE NEW DRIVE?

I am guessing 1 drive is failing... Moving your data is the proper thing to do, and will not make the new drive fail. the real question is will you be able to copy all of your data.

SO I SHOULD GO AHEAD AND PROCEED WITH THE DISK CLONE? AND IF ALIS WELL,,THEN ALL IS WELL. CORRECT??

And by the way,,i did clone 1 drive (80gb) to a biger drive in the past,,and the big drive became 80gb,,could you help with this issue also? any ideas to avoid doing this again??
