hard disk error?

Solution
Basically it seems like you have "caution" for the current SMART attributes: Reallocated Sector Count - this is basically bad sectors which have been remapped so that the drive does not use them anymore; G-sense error rate - this indicates how many times there were errors due to external shock or vibrations; Reallocated Event Count - this shows how many times the drive tried to reallocate data from the reallocated sectors.

All this means that you've had some bad sectors which are no longer used but since it seems that the reallocated event count's number is the same as the reallocated sector count, that means that the data was moved on the first try. Hey there, Spadaj83.

It does seem like there might be something wrong as there are 3 attributes on caution. However the last symbol is a bit blurred. Anyway, you should backup your important data immediately, just to be on the safe side if you haven't done so already. Then download the HDD manufacturer's diagnostic tool to run its tests and double-check. You could also give it a try with a different SATA port and different cables, to see if the issues still persist. If you still have problems with the drive, you should get in touch with the vendor you got the HDD from and try to RMA it, if it's still under warranty.

Hope that helps.

Basically what all of this says is that you drive had a problem with several bad sectors and you should be cautious. If I were you, I'd backup the data as already mentioned and try to RMA it if it's still under warranty. Those bad sectors don't seem a lot but if your system is being slowed by your drive, it's not worth the risk.

Cheers!
