i have dell vostro 1014 laptop. my lap got slow and cant open drives.. i like to replace it with 500 gb hard disk.. whichone should i buy?? pls help me

Before you buy a new HDD, try to format and clean install the OS. Its a good idea to format the installation in about 6 to 8 months time.

NOTE : You need a bootable media (DVD/USB) to do the job. And back-up everything important before formatting.

Solution
If you don't do gaming and the like or need large amount of space, get yourself a Samsung 840 EVO 128GB SSD, will also expand battery life and you will see a performance increase.

If you need the space, the one of the WD Blue HDD's will be fine, decent performance and don't need a lot of power, so will extended battery life.
