Hi

Well, yesterday I reboot my computer and Surprise! The second hard disk, where is saved all my work, didn't appear. Reboot twice, but my computer don't recognize's it.

The disk apparently don't have a physical problem (it don't sound when is connected, and neither when I shake it). Two month ago my UPS failed twice and my computer turn off inmediatly. I didn't think that will cause a problem, but...

The disk don't import (I know it don't work well again), but there are hours and hours of work (specially 3D models), and I want to save at leats a part of this.

The hard disk is an Seagate Barracuda 2TB.

I try with Hiren's Boot, but it don't result yet.

I appreciate any help, thanks.

I would go to Seagate's website and download their diagnostic tools: http://www.seagate.com/support/downloads/seatools/

Run a test with their software to see if the drive is operational. Also, take a look inside the case and examine the power and data cables to make sure there isn't any damage to the cables. You might try to move the drive to another SATA port and try it again...
