Im using 2 SSD and 2 HDD.HDD are mainly for storage and games.Recently im changing a new PSU, it's a CM G550M Semi-Mod.The first week all looking good without any issues.then im keep changing my fans direction/flow to test the system temp. After i got a good fans setup, my hdd keep make this noise, sounds like it didnt have enough power to operate then my pc not detected them.Could it be PSU problem or the modular cable?

My system is :-
Intel i7 3770
Gigabyte GA-B75M-D3V
GTX 970
PSU CM G550M
2x SSD
2x HDD
4 x case fans

*I've checked all my storage on CrystalDisk Info, no error found on any of my storage.

If the HDD is making a continuous clicking sound, we call that "the click of death", and it means the HDD is physically damaged so needs replacing. However, it would be most unusual for both HDDs to fail at the same time.

But that's assuming it is a clicking sound, if it isn't then we need a better description (a recorded sound-clip would be better).

If the PSU was unable to supply sufficient system power, the PC wouldn't be able to power up at all, so I don't think it's the PSU, especially since (I assume?) the system was running fine before you got the HDD problem.

However, just to check if it is insufficient power, you could remove the GTX card, connect your monitor to the on-board/integrated GPU, then power up the system.

No, its not a clicking sound.Have u guys using HDD dock for external use before? When u press the dock power button, its sounds like hdd is starting up.Or u put the PC on sleep and u can hear the hdd is powering up.

Ive already check with crystal disk, and its just fine.

Maybe theres is a problem with the modular cable?

Its sound like this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0XKr3I-lT1g {watch 03:00 - 07:00}
and its keep repeating until theres no sound anymore and my pc not detected em .

Well if that's the case, the HDD is parking its heads, basically going into power save since it wasn't accessed for a certain amount of time I think it's 20min of inactivity on high-performance mode, I had a Seagate Barracuda LP drive that had a click bug that couldn't be fixed, in fact, most if not all of the LP drives had that problem. If it randomly does it while you are using the system, do you get any freezes when you are accessing the drive? Crystal Disk Info won't tell ya everything, sometimes it can't predict or tell when or if the drive is dying.

I use a docking station with 2 drives, and after so long they do get put in a sleep state, and they do make the click sound, even turning on they do it, But never when I'm accessing it.

You u guys are right. Now, my hdd got this error :- "Current Pending Sector Count" and "Uncorrectable Sector Count" all count by = 8
I can transfer a bigger files into another hdd. *sigh

Do u guys know what to do or fix it?It just got a game files and movies on there, nothing important.

The drive is on its way out, not much you can do about it unfortunately, move your files off the disk if you can and replace it.
