I have 2 hdd whenever I connect both it does not start up, the windows holds up at the starting Windows page, but when I remove 1 hdd it starts normally. Is there a problem in my hdd. How can I make it right.
I'd strongly recommend you check how the HDD appears on another computer. If you don't have access to one, try swapping the SATA cable that is connecting the drive with a different one and also check how it will get detected from another SATA port. If the problem persists, you might want to check how the HDD would get recognized externally via a SATA-to-USB cable with an AC adapter or a docking station/external enclosure. The external troubleshooting shouldn't have such negative effect on the boot-up process of your system. Another possibility to troubleshoot would be to create a bootable flash drive with a DOS version of an HDD diagnostic utility (the manufacturer's tool is recommended). This version will...

Another possibility to troubleshoot would be to create a bootable flash drive with a DOS version of an HDD diagnostic utility (the manufacturer's tool is recommended). This version will allow you test the HDD's health and SMART status without booting into Windows OS.
As soon as you can access the files on that hard drive, make sure you back them up immediately! If it's influencing the system in this way, it might be failing.
Let me know how the troubleshooting is going! Good luck!

Thank you sir for your help it was really appreciable. Now I have done things the way you said only I couldn't manage to test with the HDD casing, but when I tried to check it with 'hard disk sentinel' it showed that my 500gb hard disk health is only 13% whereas the other 2tb health is 100%. So is my hard disk gone completely or can I bring back it to normal conditions.
