Hard disk partition &format

my hard disk 320gb but see 290gb
please tell me solution

cause windows counts Kb as 1024b but the hardware people count it as 1000b per Kb.

oh, and partitioning will affect this number too.

wait until you get a bigger harddrive, then it'll be even worse.
