Hard Disk partition Missing

Hi,
I made started partion of my C drive through Disk Management. The 400 GB i shrink to 220 GB. But power interrupted and the system has shut down before partition has started. Now the C drive has only 220 GB but the remaining 180 GB is not found. I can see the C driver havin g400 GB in disk management but in My computer I see only 220 GB. Why this happened so. How to solve this problem? How can i get back that space?
Kindly do the needful.

The partition table is corrupted as it is interrupted during shrink. You may backup your data, and format the hard drive and repartition the drive, you will get back the lost space.
