HArd disk prob

I have a wd 2tb black cavier harddisk and now when i connect it to the computer there is a chirping sound out for 5sec and my computer is not recognising the hdd..Bios recognise its size only and the os wont reognise anything..Pls help

Have you used the drive on your computer or it is the first time you attach it to your system?
The first thing you can try is to change both power and SATA cables and connect the drive to a different SATA port. You can connect it to another system as well, in order to be sure whether the issue is caused by the HDD or your system.
If the issue persists, you can go to Disk Management and see whether the drive is recognized over there. If it is, check whether it has healthy partitions and/or file system. In case it does not, you can try some data/partition recovery software. After that you test the drive with WD's Data Lifeguard Diagnostic tool.

In case the drive is not recognized by Disk Management(and you have tried all the cable/ports/different computer steps), then I guess you will not be able to access the drive with some software tool.
If the drive is still under warranty, I guess you can contact WD's Support and eventually RMA it.
