hard disk probleme help me !!!!

my hard dive wont work tried it in two computer and 4 usb ports i now trying it through main computer but no sing of it help me plz

USB suggests an external drive to me. Is that correct? What are the symptoms? Does it make noise? If so, what kind (whirr, grind, click)? Do the lights, if any come on?

Is this a brand new drive you have never used before? If yes, then have you done the required steps of Partitioning and Formatting it so Windows can recognize it?

Or, is this an external unit that was working with files on it, and then it stopped working?

If this is an external drive in its own case, there are no jumpers to change. Or, if it is an internal SATA drive, it also has NO jumpers to change. Jumpers only apply to internal IDE drives.

when i do defragment it show two much in red clour.how can i finish it because i have defragmented many times but it does not finish red side.

That's not true on all hard drives. I've experimented with a wide variety of hardware and that is not always the case. It depends on your hardware on hand...
