Solution

Bit for bit transfer.
It won't transfer the physical issues from the old drive, but whatever small bits are not readable on the old drive, will either not be transferred, or transferred in their screwed up state to the new drive.

Clean install.

on this disk ,i just have wow and fsx installed,,,,the disk is loosing its marbles, so i bought a new one and wanted to just transfer everything over.
i thought about ghosting it,but everytime i try to ghost copy a drive,, if the host is lets say 100gb,,and the new one is 250gb,,,,,,,,,, the 250 becomes 100gb. and i truly go nuts :pt1cable:

OHHH!!!! you mean,,if i clone it,,,it will transfer the problems onto the new drive also?????
