Hard disk won't initialize no matter what

So drive 1 is a HDD that you added and will not initialize. Was the drive new or previously used, perhaps with a different OS?

Have you run diagnostics on the drive using the manufacturer tools that you can download from their support sites?

You may want to try doing a diskpart clean operation: In a command prompt window type
diskpart
list disk
select disk n (which should be disk 1 as shown in the list disk info)
clean
exit

Then you should be able to initialize it in disk management or using diskpart commands.

Nvm I figured it was a damaged hard disk, I'm sending it back for RMA. Hopefully I get a new one =)
It was making a weird noise and I looked it up and it means the disk is damaged. It's a laptop hard disk.
