I have an issue with two TB segate hard drives I have and getting them to work with my PC. I know the hard drives aren't dead because I've tested them on a separate PC and they worked fine, but I can't get them to work with mine. I have a solid state drive and a smaller 500 gb hard drive that boot and work fine, but I can't get the 1tb hard drives to work with everything I've tried. I've tried changing my PSU, swapping out SATA cables powering the hard drive and connecting them to the motherboard, and various other solutions but couldn't find a fix. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated, thanks.

For the system specs I have an Intel i5-7600k CPU with a Corsair H50 cooler. For the motherboard it is an ASROCK B250 PRo4 with 8GB of HyperX Furry DDR4 RAM and an EVGA 970 SSC GPU. The larger hard drives both won't show up even in bios, just to clarify that, and its not the hard drives because I tested them on another rig. Thanks for any help

when you say work? Do you mean show up as a drive in the My computer folder (i.e. D/: drive). Or do you mean physically spin up? if its the earlier you need to format and create a partition. Simple way to test the pc is recognizing the drives as being installed is to go into the BIOS and see if the drives are listed, usually under the Boot menu.

When you mean work, do you mean that they are not physically on, or not showing up in windows? If they are on and recognized in the bios, you need to get into disk management and format and partition them.

They don't show up in Windows or BIOS at all, so I have no way of formatting them that way.
