hard drive clicks, keyboard light flashes, fan cycles on/off and won't boot

greetings......laptop lenovo yoga 2 20cd......won't boot, hard drives clicks, keyboard light and fan cycles on/off.....replaced hard drive......identical symptoms exist noting factory recall on battery in 2015........help, PLEASE.....thanks

What happens when you start the laptop without a drive?

Unfortunately, taking into account all these things, all of this could be related to the power supply. I believe you will need to take the laptop to a repair shop.
If it is under warranty, you can just contact the manufacturer.

thank you for your time in answering my inquiry; much appreciated DKWD......as suggested, I removed the HD and then tried to start the laptop....the keyboard lighting cycled on/off......but that was all the response......note before I removed the new HD, I disconnected the battery, and then reconnected same, and affected no change....it,s as if power cycles on/off but not long enough to allow the laptop to boot up.....the cost to take to have lenovo repair this device is $550 minimum......I would rather purchase a new laptop......I'm going To test it with the battery from my Yoga 14 to see if it's a bad battery.....THANKS AGAIN!!!! (it's not under warranty)
