Hello everyone,
I am building a new system that I will hopefully be purchasing soon and have a simple question. Many prices on the hard drives at new egg do not make sense to me. I see WD Caviar Black 1TB 7200 drives at 6GB/s being $10 cheaper than the same model, but 3GB/s. Likewise, there is a 1.5 TB drive with the same specs (and 3GB/s) for about $75 less than either of the ones posted above, and yet another 1.5 TB drive priced at $50 higher but has a lower transfer rate. Here are links to the ones in question

Clearly there is something here I am missing. If anyone has any suggestions (even if it is to get a completely different drive), please post here. I am simply trying to make the best decisions regarding my new setup, and could use the communities' expertise!
Thank you all in advance
