You really can't. Did you get a virus of somesort? If you are trying to do a system restore from the partition due to a virus issue, then you're going to need restore discs from the manufacturer of your laptop because your virus most likely corrupted your recovery partition.

In the future, to avoid having to fork over $30-80 ordering these discs, ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS burn a set or two of the restore discs when you first buy a computer.

If you know someone with a retail copy of windows 7 "insert your version here", then you can install windows that way, but keep in mind it will not recreate a recovery partition, nor will it install all the drivers for your computer. You will then have to go to the manufacturer support website and download and install all the drivers. Although the + side of that is its free.

Its best to replace the hard drive if the corruption did not come from a known virus and you know that the hard drive is bad. Then order the discs.
