Hard Drive Connector?

What hard drive connector is this. It is about the same size as Sata III, but it doesnt match up. I have tried questioning the manufacturer but they were of no help. Is this just a cover for a sata III, or something else?

I can't see any picture, but it could possibly be a SAS connector, if the data and power connectors are merged as one, with a smaller set of connectors on the opposite side.

it it a full size drive the two connectors are power (larger plug) and data.
on smaller drives there micro sata ports.

if it looks like a larger then a standard sata port then you may have a fiberchannel drive.
