Question Hard drive detected but doesn't show up

I bought an adapter to backup the contents of old IDE hard drives, but I can't get the contents of it. Have tried with three different disks and it is the same problem.
What could the problem be?

As shown in the video, I get a connecting sound and I see that something appears but quickly disappears again when connecting the usb cable.

The software AI-OTB associated with the product doesn't recognize it either

check the jumper settings of the HDDs. Are these set to master or slave or else?

is the power adapter of the adapter connectetd to the wall as well?

Yes power cable is connected.
I set the jumper setting to CS and the drive showed up like this.
However I still do not know how to access its contents? Can't see it in file explorer since I can't seem to assign a letter to it

right click on Disk 1 and assign a letter to it, then it should be reachable in your explorer

When I right click on it I am not allowed to assign a letter to the hard drive. The option seems greyed out?

Also check in Device Manager> Disks>Volumes,>Populate. .
