Hello, dear tech experts. I am having a very weird issue with my WD hard drive.

Rig specs:

https://pcpartpicker.com/list/Zr4Whq

Issue description: I have had this PC running smoothly for a few days now. Everything (RAM, CPU, GPU, SSD...) is working fine, except the WD hard drive. I am running Windows 10 pro 64bit (I haven't activated it yet because I'm looking for a decent deal on the product key). The hard drive is recognized properly, in other words, I can see it in device manager. I have compared the properties to the Samsung SSD and it all looks the same. The issue is, when i open the Windows File Explorer, I see the SSD when I click 'This PC', but not the hard drive. I can't locate it, use it to store files... I have no idea what's wrong. I ran troubleshooting, and the only thing that I noticed is I'm missing drivers for my NZXT liquid cooler.

Whoever reads this, if you have a potential answer, all answers are welcome, any help is... well, helpful. Thank you for your time and potential answers.

Open Disk Management.
Does it appear there? Probably.

It probably just needs to be Initialized and formatted.

and possibly assigned a drive letter if Windows doesn't do it automatically...

i have the same problem, but these are not new Hard Drives. they were working just fine until i reinstalled windows 10. i dont want to format them because they are full of important files. and its not giving me the option to add a letter.
