[SOLVED] Hard drive detected in bios but not in hardware

Pretty self explanatory. I've done everything I know to do. Scanned for hard drives in every way possible on the windows side. What do I do?

Have you checked windows built in partition manager to see if it's been initialized?
Go to windows search and type in "partition" an option called disk manager should pop up. Check for the drive and see if it's initialized, if it's not there or in device manager either then you my friend have an issue with your windows.

You could try running disk part as an administrator. Type list disk, if it comes up as say disk 2 type select disk 2 and then you may be able to initialise it from there. Type help I think off the top of my head for a list of available commands at each stage.

What about Device manager, can you see it there ?
