Question Hard Drive Disconnected

Factory reset my PC yesterday and found my HHD was not listed in file explorer or disk managment. Tried to initialize the disk that was listed as "unknown" in disk managment but it wouldn't work either. Starting to think its a issue with the SATA cables but I wanted to confirm it was a hardware problem.

Please be specific on what hardware your computer consists of and also the reason why you decided to make a factory reset in the first place.
