Basically the drive makes weird clicky noises on boot, and doesn't appear in "this PC", "Disk Management" and Devices. I am not sure if it appears in the bios but i'm pretty sure it doesn't. It's inside of a laptop (MSI GS60 Ghost Pro 2PE) Specs can be found here: https://www.msi.com/Laptop/GS60-2PE-Ghost-Pro-3K-Edition.html#hero-specification
It believe it still works as i can feel and hear the drive. It's a HGST 1TB 7200RPM, http://imgur.com/a/rDbfr. Would it be a software or hardware problem? From my knowledge it could be something blocking the head or the head is broken. I have tried opening the drive which isn't the best idea and one of the screws were stuck tight in place making it nearly impossible to open without proper tools.
I am still wondering if i should have another look in the hard-drive to see if anything is blocking it or to give it to a local professional where they can give me a quote on how much it will cost to fix it.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Here are some videos of the noises the drive makes:

clicking is bad news for a hdd, Clicking happens when the read head is touching the surface of the platter. The drive head should be floating in a vacuum above the platter, shouldn't touch it at all.

it not appearing in windows or BIOS is also bad sign.

don't try to open drives, you cannot fix them cheaply. It is better to just replace them.

I think you need a new drive as its not going to get any better

I agree with previous poster - - classic "click of death" - - the hard drive needs replacing.

You won't get it fixed anywhere -- such a service just doesn't exist in the public domain as it's not economically viable given the relatively low cost of new HDDs these days. Repair would most likely cost as much (if not more) than a new one so who's gonna bother taking in HDDs to repair in that economic reality?
