Hard Drive Failing?

Recently one of my laptop start to produce a strange noise from the hard drive

Is it failing? Do i need to replace it?

yep hard drive heads are hitting the platter..back up your data to the cloud now if you can..google drive is free and has 15g of storage. if the laptop under warranty do an rma. if not order online a replacement drive the same size. or look to see if for the same price a larger drive at 7200 rpm can be bought.
