My mom booted up her laptop and this came up. (some of the stuff is black for privacy purposes)

This drive problem is happening, from what I know, my dad throwing around my mother's laptop onto the couch. Since the drive is mechanical,I assume that this caused the drive to fail.
There are two options, yes or no, at the bottom that I assume lead to a setup of sorts.
Should I press yes or no? Also, is there some other solution to this that'll keep the drive's data?

Solution
that not a hard drive failure...somehow your dad hit the right keys at boot and got into the laptop system restore. it a feature most laptops have to put the hard drive back to factory new. hit no and if the drive is fine should boot back into windows on the next power cycle.

I assumed the same thing but she said she didn't press anything upon booting it.

Pressed no anyways and it works fine. Based on what she said I still have no idea how the hell she got that screen to come up.
