[SOLVED] Hard drive files not showing

Hello, I have a dell laptop that had gotten liquid spilt on it, the laptop doesn't turn on. However I took the hard drive out of the laptop and plug it into another PC with USB connector the drive shows up but it shows empty. I need help, I have all my files on the drive, Thanks.

Drive type: Seagate 1TB

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

You might want to try and use Recuva or TestDisk but your mileage can and will vary. The other thing you can do is take the HDD to a professional data recovery center.
