Hard Drive For Gaming

Hey so im in the process of building a gaming pc and was wondering if a WD Caviar Black 500gb be a better improment performance wise over a Seagate Barracuda for example. My harddrive budget is only $100 US. Is it performance worth loosing the extra space?

The Seagate Barracuda 1TB and over is better than the Western Digital Caviar Black 500. The Western Digital velociraptor is currently the top HDD in terms of performance.

As far as performance goes, it may differ by a little bit. Because the RPM's are at 7200. It's better to get a bigger drive with at least 7200 rpm. Definitely better than 5400 rpm. Highest is 10000 rpm.
