I got a new computer and my games would run perfectly fine but then my hard drive blew on me causing me to have to get a new one so I used a very old one that I had and my games would stutter very bad on every game that I played on apart from the more stressful ones.

I ordered my new hard drive and put it in, fresh install of windows expecting to finally be able to enjoy my games but when i went to play my games im still left with stutter lag? please help this never was a problem with the first hard drive.

8GB RAM
500GB WD 7200RPM HDD

If that's the case and you bought a brand new WD I doubt it's the hard drive. Seems more likely that the problem might lie elsewhere in your system. Those are all pretty good parts so I really am not sure what could be the problem. How are your temps? Possible overheating?

When gaming my CPU hits %20-%29 and my memory 4GB
Im thinking it could be the motherboard as it is a pretty small one
