I've had my gaming PC since 2013 and this morning when I woke up it decided that t was no longer going to boot from the hard drive.

It's a Western Digital Caviar black 1TB.

Just out of the blue.

Randomly.

The classic "windows failed to boot, possible hardware/software problem"

"Error 0x000000F"

*note* this morning one the very 1st boot, it booted up normally, but when I selected my account, it took a long time to load and eventually black screened. I restarted my PC out of curiousity, and now here I am.

I've tried putting windows 7 on a flash drive but I got the boosted error because the PC I did it on wasn't a 64bit version of windows.

Then I tried burning windows 7 to a dvd-r but I eventually found out that a DVD-R isn't rewritable and that I'd need a DVD-RW.

So I have yet to get one of those.

Does anybody know what could have happened?

*note* I dropped my speakers on the hard drive last night but the PC didn't seem to be affected by it.

*note* a while into the night when I was watching videos the PC just decided to freeze hard with no major programs running.

Then it came back shortly after like a 5 minute freeze.

Please help.. I'm very upset and I don't want to lose al of my files and pictures...
