So for the second time randomly when my PC is on, my hard drive will go undetected but shows up in disk management and asks to create a new partition. I have ran crystaldisk and it says the health status is good. I really don't understand why it's happening as it's a 2 month year old hard drive.

It could be that your windows hard drive is not detected by BIOS. Go into BIOS before your computer starts, and then find Primary IDE Master, Primary IDE Slave, Secondary IDE Master, and Secondary IDE Slave. If they are set to "Not Detected", simply set them to "Auto" and restart your computer. If they are already set to "Auto", it might be a different issue.

IDE Master/Slave has no use in a SATA setup.
