Hard drive not appearing on Windows 8

I booted my windows on my SSD, and just finished installing. My hard drive showed up as an option to install on, so I know it is connected. However now that windows is installed the hard drive is not showing up under devies and drives. How should I go about connecting it?

Right Click On My computer> Manga> Disk Management>>
Chek That List Your Device Is Showing There??

Yes, it shows up in disk management, but on the devices and drives for this PC in the file explorer.

Do the drives show up as having valid partitions or uninitialized?

The SSD is all blue, says healthy, the hard drive has 340 MB blue, but 931.17 GB unallocated (Black bar)

Is the hard drive a 1.5TB drive? Did you have a 340MB partition on it before?

I have not partitioned anything yet, just installed the OS, and never messed with the hard drive at all.

Windows may have put a partition on the hard drive when you installed it on the SSD. For best results, you should leave the HDD unplugged from the system while installing Windows to the SSD. After installation and updates, then install the HDD, repartition it to be a single partition (or multiple if you so choose), and move your data directories (music, documents, videos and pictures) to the HDD.
