Hard drive not detectable by BIOS or any other program

My second hard drive, a 2TB Seagate drive is no longer detected by my computer, I have tried to use different Sata cables and different power cables but nothing seems to work, so I know its not the sata cables or the power cables. When the computer turns on I can feel the drive stir for a second, but nothing after that, one time there was a beep from my computer just a single beep about a second long, but nothing after that. The computer is working fine right now, but I cant seem to get the extra drive working now, I was playing a game located on it just yesterday before I turned the computer off, but I don't know anymore. Any suggestions on how I can fix the drive? I plan on going to best buy and having the geek squad take a look at it and do whatever they can without needing payment.

sorry for the late response, what do you mean by shutter noise? i can faintly hear the motor kind of start up but then it stops. Not much else noise wise.
