Hard Drive Not Detected

I had a portable external 1 TB hard disk...Now I opened it and i am using it as a secondary internal harddisk for my desktop.

The problem is that all the partitions and data is perfectly visible in Windows 7...But in Windows XP it is only shown in the Device Manager but not in
My Computer.Only my Primary Internal Hard Disk is Seen.

So How Can i make it visible in My computer Of XP.....It Works Perfectly fine in Windows 7 as a secondary Hard Disk along with the Primary one.

Right click My Computer and select Manage, click on Disk Management
If the drive is there right click and give it a drive letter.
