Hard drive not found

I made a new pc and was installing windows and realized I had to delete portions on my hard drive so I restarted it and was going to delete them but now my Motherboard won't detect my hard drive. What do I do?

reconnect the sata cable and the sata power cable, change both sata and power cable if possible to discard that problem
