I have a seagate which doesnt pick up on my computer but as soon as i connect it to other computers it shows. and i also cant find it in disk management. can someone please help?

Run Seagate seatools on it. Do a smart test. If it fails you have a failing hard drive and it needs to be replaced

Try connecting it to another sata port in the original pc

Hi there Zaka69,

Is this an external or internal drive? In both cases, this should be either a connection or driver related issue.
Is the drive recognized by BIOS when connected to your system? In case it is not, you need to double check the connections. Try using different cables(USB or SATA=power one) and connect the drive to a different port(USB or SATA).
In case the drive is recognized by BIOS but not Disk Management, it could be a driver related issue. If this is the case, you need to go to your MOBO's website and update your USB/SATA drivers.

It may be a good idea to back up the data stored on the drive until you sort this out.

Cheers,
