Hello guys I'm in a bit of a problem here. I was trying to install a ssd but I didn't have an extra sata cable so I just unplugged one from my cd disk drive and that's when all my problems started. My computer wouldn't boot After that even when I plugged it back in. After bunch of attempts it booted once but then I turned it off. I took out a ram and it booted but not pass Windows logo. I then put both back in and it broke again. After a while I put both back and it worked but still couldn't pass Windows repair or Windows logo. After all that now my hard drive is not even detected any more I got no Idea what to do I've been at it for hours. I've also done cmos reset with battery and jumper

Hey there, cocobobo20!

It seems like you've encountered an OS confusion, which is what happens when you have more than 1 storage drives connected to the motherboard while trying to install Windows on one of them. You should have unplugged the HDD, instead of the CD/ROM drive and then attempt installing Windows onto the new SSD. I'd recommend you to start from scratch again and begin anew.
Here are some storage optimization guides that can assist you with this:
Win 7 - http://www.overclock.net/t/1156654/seans-windows-7-install-optimization-guide-for-ssds-hdds
Win 8 - http://www.overclock.net/t/1240779/seans-windows-8-install-optimization-guide-for-ssds-hdds

Good luck!

i suspect cable as it won't run the cd or hdd now . when you reset bios you need to go back in and restore settings it had before the reset, sata to ahci etc etc
