Hard drive not showing up in My Computer

Hi,

I have a USB MAXTOR external hard drive. The problem is that it doesn't show up in My Computer. It is listed in the Device manager as Disk Drive with specific information.

It has worked before and I just don't get why it suddenly stopped and doesn't show.Any help with this problem would be greately appreciated.

Have you looked in the event log viewer to see if there is an error which may leade to the cause ?
