Bit of a long post, maybe someone could help. Okay, so I bought a brand new computer, and put it all together. The only thing I didn't buy new was the hard drive (1 TB). I plug it all in and, turns on, but it doesn't recognize my Monitor or Keyboard. I do a little digging and someone suggests it might be my hard drive messing with everything.
Okay so, I had to buy a SATA to USB cable to test my hard drive on, and maybe wipe it completely. Wait a few days. Get the cord. Plug it into this laptop I borrowed, and plugging in hard drive and it doesn't pick up anywhere. It recognizes the SATA/USB cable but not the hard drive itself. What is going on? It's not showing up in device manager either.

(Disk 0 is laptop internal harddrive and see it picks up Disk 1 but shows nothing).
