Hey, again I have problems with my drive. I've tried almost everything but I get very mixed results.
When I run windows error check there are no problems (same with chkdsk). But when I use chkdsk /f it will stay at 54% and drive will not respond. It was previously external drive but problems were still the same so I tried luck and put it into my PC and everything is same. I've noticed that when I write on the drive it gets stuck and I need to re-plug it but when I game on it there are no problems. Also I've tried formatting drive with full formatting but again it got stuck. When I use Hard drive sentinel it says it has 14% health and also this message appears:

The drive found 125 bad sectors during its self test.
There are 146 weak sectors found on the disk surface. They may be remapped any time in the later use of the disk.
It is recommended to examine the log of the disk regularly. All new problems found will be logged there.

It is recommended to backup immediately to prevent data loss.

Event log from sentinel: 28.06.2016 18:26:19,#197 Current Pending Sector Count 130 -> 146

Drive is WD Green 4000GB and I have been using it max. 1 year. Thank you for any help

Hey there, Filip!

I'm truly sorry to hear about your issues with the 4 TB WD green drive! 🙁 Unfortunately, @popatim is right! You will definitely need to replace drive if the reallocated sector count is so big. I assume you don't have any important data on it, since you have been trying to format it as well. Either way, I'd advise you to run the QUICK and EXTENDED tests from WD's Data LifeGuard Diagnostics for Windows and check what is the health and SMART status from there, too.

Since you've been using it for a year or so, I'd advise you to check the warranty on our website. If it's still covered, you should be able to send an RMA request to our Customer Support either by...
