[SOLVED] Hard drive not working

Built a new pc and installed windows onto the hard drive yesterday and everything seemed to be working well and then I turn on the pc this morning and it boots me to the bios because my hard drive isn’t detected. Does anyone know how to get it to be detected?

If its plugged in correctly, it will automatically be connected.
If the hard drive has gone faulty, it won't detect it.
You can always try and RESET BIOS, failing that, I'd say your HD has died.

How would I reset the bios?

Everything is in your manual, and if you are not confident about doing anything technical, then return everything to the place you bought it from.
You said you built it, so you should have some knowledge of how a computer works. If not, maybe you built it wrong.
