Hard drive 'order' in Computer Management

Is there a way to change my order of my hard drives?

Of course, my System Drive is "C" (SATA), and several other data drives are "F" and "E" (both PATA), yet when I look at Computer Management in Windows 7, they are listed as:
Disk 0 = drive (F
Disk 1 = drive (E
Disk 2 = drive (C

I would like to have Disk 0 = "C", Disk 1 = "E", and Disk 2 = "E" if possible?

Is there a way to do that?

It really doesn't matter. But if you care so much, I am pretty sure you can change the name of the drives.
If you right click on the big box, there should a "rename" or "reassign" option you can choose. Good Luck!

Yea, but if I renamed them to fit the disk order, then the system drive will no longer be the "C" drive, which is what I'm always accustomed to and prefer (although I've read that having the system drive on something other than "C" spoofs with virus/adware coders who target "C" preferentially).

There must be some scheme which places the drives in a particular order of Disk 0, Disk 1, Disk 2 and was wondering if anyone knew what that was?
