Hard drive OS question

ok going to be upgrading a hard drive on my computer, i currently have windows xp home edition 32 bit just found a windows vista home premium 32 bit cd in the house. its only the OS cd, so once i install a new hard drive i just run this cd and ill be fine or am i missing cds that i should have to get the new hard drive up and running?

Just make sure you unplug any "extra" drives when you do the clean install and go in BIOS and tell it to boot from the CD/DVD drive first.
