hard drive problem

hi i am on my 4th hard drive in 2 weeks bought a seagate hard drive was clicking echanged it for a western digital worked for about 4 days then died on me then i got a new western digital was dead when i got it now i bought this seagate and now its clicking.... are these hard drive issues or could it be something else sometimes it dont pick up in my pc so i switched sata ports with my cd drive and it will pick up my cd drive but wont pick up the hard drive.... taking my pc to geek squad at best buy cause they told me they had to look at my pc before id be issued another hdd

and when i try to install windows on the new hdd it says "windows could not format a partition on disk0. the error occurred while preparing the partition selected for installation.error code: 0x80070057"

Hi there Mizzat420,

It is highly unlikely to get 4 dead/dying HDD in a row. Though it is not impossible.
I believe the guys over there will sort the issue out. My guess would be that there might be something wrong with the MOBO.
It may be a good idea to wait for some more opinions. :)

didnt really give me a clear answer going to wait till next month and just build me another pc they said it was the mobo was planing on just getting a new pc was gonna upgrade the processor and the gpu and the powersupply and the case is is getting wore out its about 4 years old told me i had to pay 90 dollars to get my pc diagnosed
