if u can help me and show me how to attach screenshots, tell me how please so i can attach my results

Hi there wax_93,

Sorry that you are facing some issues with your WD drive. 🙁
My advice would be to back up all the data stored on the drive until you sort this out as these errors are associated with bad sectors.
After that, you can test the drive with WD's Data Lifeguard Diagnostic tool(both short and extended tests): http://products.wdc.com/support/kb.ashx?id=xUVG6O

In case you get similar results, and in case the HDD is under warranty, you can just contact the place you got it from or WD's Support and eventually RMA the drive: http://products.wdc.com/support/kb.ashx?id=D0f7qz

ok, thank you for advice guys

sorry buy we don't do warranties in my country, they always find a workaround

so i guess i'll buy another one "which i need an advice about, what model, specs to look for, etc..."

and when i make the backup, i'll just push my HDD to the cliff

any advice about a replacement??

Well, anyway, you can check if the product is under warranty here: http://products.wdc.com/support/kb.ashx?id=LVxH8m
In case it is, you can contact WD's Support either by e-mail and phone. The guys over there may be able to help out. :)

Apart from that, I would agree with drtweak and say that you can check WD Black out. This is a premium, performance oriented product with 5 years of limited warranty.

here came a problem

when i checked for the warranty online, it says it's expired. Furthermore it says the SN belongs to a WD black, while mine is blue, also it shows a false model than the one shown on the HDD and in the tests

My HDD got some date written on it, it's something in december 2014, while i bought it on august/september 2015

it's the same. but on crystal disk info, it shows "WD-" before the SN, when i tried that on WD site, it's not found

other than that, it shows the same SN written on the HDD

and it shows up as a black? Weird?

I would call up WD support. If you have proof of purchase of the drive and when you bought it they should honor it. A lot of times drives will be made and then sold in bulk to places and maybe it was at the bottom of the pile that just kept getting stacked on top of?
