I have an old SATA 2 Hard Drive that has windows 7 on it. If i put that hard drive into a new computer will the windows 7 work on that hard drive?

Sorry for very bad english...

Solution
Yes, it will work... but make sure that the hard drive is compatible with the socket in the motherboard and the drivers may not be happy unless you are upgrading from Nvidia to Nvidia or AMD to AMD.. that's just the graphics part..

hi newbie123456
as long as the new computer is the same as your previous one you can
if the computer is totally different model then no because the chipset and audio and lan and sata etc etc will all be different and
cause windows to crash with previous drivers installed for the old motherboard that are not compatible with the new one
