My friend may have a virus on his computer and I wanted to cleanse his hard drive with my anti virus software from my computer, but his hard drive has the old IDE connection (or E-IDE, can't tell) , which I don't have on my motherboard anymore (just sata ports).

Is there a way I can hook up his hard drive to my computer, like by USB, so I can scan it with my anti-virus software?

Is there a USB converter, card or something I can buy that I can use?

Thanks!

Or stick it in an external enclosure.
