Hard Drive randomly disconnects

My boot drive died so i bought a new SSD reinstalled all my drivers and now my 2TB HDD shows up but between 1-90 mins I get a error message saying its been removed
I have Windows 7 pro 64-bit and a ASUS H-97M Pro4 motherboard please help! i don't wanna buy another 2 TB

Check the hdd sata cables are plugged in properly. If the problem persists then replace the hdd before it dies - so you can copy the data off it.

I would also replace the SATA cable(s). (Throw the old ones away in order not to inadvertently use them again in the future). Visually and externally they make look ok, but in my own experience, SATA cables have been known to just 'give up the ghost' overnight. Gremlins!
