Hard drive reads fast. Writes very slowly

Hey guys!

I'm kinda desperat. One of my hard drives reads fast, but writes extremly slow. When I copy a file from C: to the problem HDD (E it has decent speed (100MB/s - 400MB/s depending on the filesize) but when i copy a file from E: to C: the speed goes down to under 1MB/s in seconds.

you should get the hard drive tools from your drive manufacturer and test your HDD for problems

The Toshiba Storage Diagnostic Tool can't find the HDD :/

you have bigger problems. what does device manager say. you probably need a clean os install, deleting all partitions and starting from scratch. I'm really not in the mood for needle in the haystack. if that don't fix it, your drive is probably toast or soon going to be

The drive has failed. Backup and replace. There are 2005 relocated sectors (hex 7D5).

The device manger tells me everything is fine. Do you know a good way to backup that much data with that readingspeed?

Device manager doesn't diagnose HDDs.
If you can't read from the drive and need data recovered, then seek help from professional data recovery services.
