Hard Drive Slow Loading, Never Fully Loads

This started to happen a few days ago, My hard drive is loading very slow when I open the explorer, the loading bar only loads up to half of the X, I will need to wait a couple of seconds before I can go through my files in the hard drive. Boot times are normal and program loading is normal but going through the hard drive is not normal. Very slow I don't know what is the problem.

My specs are:
AMD FX-6300
Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus
GTX 660 TI x2 SLI
8GB G. Skill Ares series ram
MSI 970a-G46 Motherboard
EVGA 750G2 PSU
Seagate Barracuda 1TB 7200RPM

Sounds like you need to defrag it. Assuming you haven't tried that already?

This happens also when you have a lot of files in the folder you are opening, your HDD needs some time to display all of them. If that is the case try deleting some unnecessary files it will prevent this normally.

+1 for the defragmentation also..
